As a previous character art lead and seasoned artist in the games industry with over 10 years experience, I have a great understanding of how to work with many facets of the art pipeline. As a manager I have helped onboard, teach and support junior and veteran artists in their career growth. I have guided them to delivering a large roster of quality assets for my employer and various clients. I regularly interacted with a variety of departments such as marketing, outsourcing, animation, environment, technical art and technical animation. I work very close with the art director, creative director and producers, always with the aim of achieving the best result possible for the artistic vision of the project.
As a professional artist with years of experience I have a thorough understanding of the character art process in games. This includes : high resolution sculpting, cloth simulation, human anatomy, creature anatomy, props, vehicles, weapons, hair, low poly modelling, UVs, texture painting, shader building, engine integration, concept art, art feedback, optimization for performance, animation and technical concerns.
I've been a big part in the growth and success of the popular horror franchise Dead By Daylight. This project has a huge emphasis on a constantly growing roster of characters and outfits that I have significantly contributed to, both directly in the art I've created and through the many people that I've managed.
